Building upon my successes within the UK marketing team, Girl About Social was entrusted with overseeing the social media presence of BARBRI Global in the US. This expansion entailed curating region-specific content and collaborating with content creators to ensure the brand’s resonance with the US audience.
The National Allotment Society partnered with Girl About Social on a short-term contract to focus on content creation, digital marketing, and event management.

The goal was to equip early-career, mid-career, and senior leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in the digital landscape.

Karina quickly got to work and identified the perfect candidate – a student with an engaged following who had experience with BARBRI courses and who had tagged the brand organically over the past year.

Leveraging her personal network, Karina spearheaded a compelling video campaign centred around the #MyBarbriStory initiative. This campaign aimed to unite students at various stages of their law journey, fostering discussions about their BARBRI education experiences.
Talentia Group are first-class specialist recruiters who work with the very best professionals, globally and across all sectors. Despite having a team of talented in-house sales consultants, few of them felt confident with how to show up effectively on Linkedin. As a result, Talentia Group brought in Girl About Social to conduct 3x in-person masterclasses at their offices for groups of up to 15 at a time, to help their sales consultants confidently master Linkedin.
BARBRI brought in Girl About Social to seamlessly integrate into their existing Marketing team and to leverage her specialist expertise to grow BARBRI’s social media accounts. BARBRI needed support building its brand story through compelling social media content and wanted to speak to its audience in a way that motivated, inspired and engaged them.

Panda Botanicals came to Girl About Social for support with creating a beautiful Instagram aesthetic, without the commitment of a full social media package.
Girl About Social hosted a variety of virtual workshops during lockdown but decided in February 2022 that it was time to take the fun offline and into her local community with a new, in-person event.
Girl About Social was brought in to work alongside the charity’s founders to organise, manage and promote an ambitious 24-hour pop-up fitness challenge in London. Participants cycled and lifted weights throughout the day and into the night in order to help raise awareness and vital funds for You Okay, Doc?’s mission. Girl About Social not only managed this unique and logistically-challenging, round-the-clock event, but also led the charge to promote the event online and on social media.
London Lane is a new direct-to-consumer footwear brand based in Leicester, devoted to using the finest quality materials at affordable prices. Keen to encourage sales around the Christmas period and to build their online presence, London Lane came to Girl About Social for support with growing their Instagram account.
Girl About Social joined forces with a brand new marketing & comms team at Scarborough Council in October of 2021. Their first team challenge? Successfully launch and market Scarborough’s first-ever real ice rink to locals and visitors within a 20-mile radius looking to enjoy a fun new Christmas activity.
