Girl About Social hosted a variety of virtual workshops during lockdown but decided in February 2022 that it was time to take the fun offline and into her local community with a new, in-person event.
Girl About Social was brought in to work alongside the charity’s founders to organise, manage and promote an ambitious 24-hour pop-up fitness challenge in London. Participants cycled and lifted weights throughout the day and into the night in order to help raise awareness and vital funds for You Okay, Doc?’s mission. Girl About Social not only managed this unique and logistically-challenging, round-the-clock event, but also led the charge to promote the event online and on social media.
London Lane is a new direct-to-consumer footwear brand based in Leicester, devoted to using the finest quality materials at affordable prices. Keen to encourage sales around the Christmas period and to build their online presence, London Lane came to Girl About Social for support with growing their Instagram account.
Girl About Social joined forces with a brand new marketing & comms team at Scarborough Council in October of 2021. Their first team challenge? Successfully launch and market Scarborough’s first-ever real ice rink to locals and visitors within a 20-mile radius looking to enjoy a fun new Christmas activity.
John Dwyer Bakery is a family-run bakery from the market town of Rugby, originating in 1989. Once servicing only a handful of wholesale accounts, they now lead a fleet of delivery services across a 50 mile stretch of the Midlands and serve as a leading supplier of bakery products to wholesalers in the UK.
